Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team at Spirit Ridge at NK'MIP Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional service.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that our staff are meeting their performance goals.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that our staff have the resources they need to do their jobs effectively.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that our linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure that our laundry needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out at all times.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
