Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of food service staff, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered in a timely manner.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train new staff members, and ensure that they are familiar with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare Budgets: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food and supplies.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Food Service Supervisor is required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong problem-solving skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
