Scotiabank is seeking highly motivated and sales-focused individuals to join our Wealth Management Private Banking team as Private Banking Associates. This 5-month salaried program is designed to develop your skills in credit underwriting and relationship management, setting you up for success in a career as a personal banker.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net worth clients to provide personalized banking support and strategic borrowing solutions.
  • Build and execute customized financial plans to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or have completed an undergraduate or master's degree by June 2025.
  • Completed a course of study that enables registration with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds.
  • Strong sales and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to influence and persuade.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
