Job Overview

Canada Goose is seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive accounting excellence and contribute to the preparation of external financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial statements, management's discussion and analysis (MD&A), and securities filings in Canada and the United States.
  • Assist in quarterly reviews and annual year-end audits of financial statements.
  • Provide lease accounting and analysis support for Canada Goose's global lease portfolio.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and certain accounting entries and account reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business/Accounting or related field.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded company listed in Canada and the United States.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is in progress, completed is an asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data analytics software are required.
  • ERP experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and experience with Workiva Wdesk platform for financial reporting are highly preferred.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
