About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Balance and deposit cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise between our chefs and customers to ensure seamless service.
  • Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide information to customers regarding menu items and preparation methods.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Attend to seating arrangements for large groups and ensure timely service.
  • Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome.
  • Perform opening and closing activities, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
  • Provide general information on community services and promote our restaurant's offerings.
  • Receive customer reservations and assign tables accordingly.
  • Receive payments from customers and process transactions accurately.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be standing for extended periods, so a high level of physical stamina is essential.
