Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Barnard Construction Company, Inc. in Bozeman, Montana.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a zero-incident safety culture by coordinating processes and guiding cross-functional teams.
  2. Lead project meetings, collaborate with the engineering team, and assist with project requirements as needed.
  3. Cordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
  4. Ensure scope of work, schedule, and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and all project participants, including clients.
  5. Determine, control, and maintain overall project and discipline schedules and budgets.
  6. Track schedule and budget progress with project milestones and take necessary actions to keep the project on track.
  7. Identify and secure necessary approvals for changes in project scope, budget, and/or schedule.
  8. Maintain ongoing communication with clients, adjusting as necessary to comply with client needs within contractual obligations or adjusting project deliverables to meet client and Barnard's needs.
  9. Support quality control/quality assurance and safety certification processes.
  10. Represent Barnard on assigned technical matters relating to your expertise.
  11. Facilitate and attend technical and/or progress meetings as required.
  12. Review progress reports and endorse invoices for services as required.
  13. Prepare and/or review various reports and correspondences related to project technical issues.

Requirements

  1. Willingness to relocate to and reside in any assigned project area in the USA.
  2. Canadian citizenship for work visa purposes.
  3. A four-year undergraduate degree in engineering from an accredited university for work visa purposes.
  4. Heavy civil construction experience is required.
  5. Experience working in the field on an active construction site is required.
  6. Ability to handle multiple projects and make sound business decisions in a timely manner to adapt to changing situations.
  7. Demonstrated ability to motivate and coordinate the efforts of others to accomplish objectives.
  8. Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, methods, and practices combined with sound judgement.
  9. Effective organizational, research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  10. Good oral and written communication skills, including technical report writing skills.
