Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Ssab AB. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up
  • Provide product advice and technical support to customers
  • Prepare quotations and sales orders
  • Close accounts by answering customer inquiries and verifying information
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following company standards and recommending improved processes
  • Develop quotations in accordance with company policy and based on identified sales strategy and customer information
  • Suggest related and new items to customers, explaining technical features and complying with company policy
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes, new products, and developments in Ssab AB and the industries we support
  • Work closely with operations, CAD, shipping, sales, finance, and management to communicate customer updates and forecasting, strategy, and prepare weekly/monthly reports

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Years of experience performing sales (inside or outside)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Strong attention to details, analytical skills, exceptional judgment, dependable, excellent teamwork skills, good time management skills, creative, problem-solving, hardworking, and persistent
  • Bilingual in both official languages, orally and written
  • Current/active driver's license

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an accredited College or University, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Years of increasingly responsible experience performing professional-level accounting, payroll, financial reporting, cash management duties, and billing
  • Experience in drawings, working with templates, and basic understanding and interest of CAD and nesting software
  • Experience in the steel industry

Working Conditions:

Travel 10% of time for meetings at other Ssab AB locations, trainings, seminars, and conferences as needed
