Pension Benefits Information System (PBIS) Developer

We are seeking an experienced.NET C# developer to join our team at KZenEdge Strategic Program Execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Pension Benefits Information System (PBIS) and other Treasury Board & Finance application development & maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex IT systems with a focus on the management of multiple data sources, web services, and legacy IT solutions.
  • Design and implement SQL databases and develop technical and reference manuals.
  • Work directly with subject matter experts in the business areas for application testing and remediation to ensure code functions as per specification.
  • Liaise with business units and program areas to ensure solutions meet current and strategic ministry needs.
  • Assess technical impacts up front and recommend better ways of designing application to ease the development.
  • Contribute to the creation of the Application Lifecycle Planning.
Requirements:
  • 5 years experience developing and delivering user manuals and training materials.
  • 5 years experience developing and maintaining web services, JSON REST API and Message queuing services using.NET C# services.
  • 5 years experience using Microsoft Entity Framework.
  • 5 years experience with GIT repository, continuous delivery, continuous integration, and unit testing.
  • 5 years experience with Microsoft Visual Studio with Team Foundation Server.
  • 5 years experience with Windows Forms development.
  • 5 years experience working as an Application Developer in a large enterprise IT environment utilizing.net, Microsoft Visual Studio, and source control tools.
  • 3 years experience in the analysis, development, and integration of complex IT systems with a specific focus on the management of multiple data sources, web services, and legacy IT solutions.
  • 3 years experience with Agile methodology.
  • 3 years experience with Angular Typescript web development.
  • 3 years experience with Microsoft Composite UI Application Block framework.
  • 3 years experience with pension plan financial filings and regulations.
  • 3 years experience with Selenium load testing.
  • 3 years experience with Test Driven Development and mock testing frameworks.
  • 3 years experience with Power BI reporting and SQL Server Analysis Services/Integration Services/Reporting Services.
