Job Title: Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our team at First Tek, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using various technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with business units and program areas to ensure solutions meet current and strategic ministry needs and requirements.
  • Write high-quality code to fulfill design and pass code review with minimal defects.
  • Apply configuration on development environments when required.
  • Participate in implementing full product into production and supports providing application versions and details for implementation plan.
  • Highlight the technical impacts of the functional design on existing applications based on a detailed analysis.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Identify critical features of system and focus testing effort on them. Ensure that the unit test covers the right proportion of the application.
  • Setup data for testing.
  • Able to quickly understand application functionalities and process.
  • Handle and fix production defects efficiently.
  • Provide tracking and reporting of time and status on all work as required.
  • Contribute to the creation of the Application Lifecycle Planning.
  • Identify and coordinate release schedules.
  • Identify service requests and priorities with customer.
  • Ensure planned releases remain on schedule and on track.
Scope of Services:
  • Applications Development.

  • Corrective and preventative applications maintenance.
  • Database design.
  • Applications enhancements.
  • Analyze business and user's requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 2- or 4-year degree in Computer Science.
Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in MS SQL, Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum, MS Azure DevOps, ASP NET, Tortoise, GIT, & Oracle.
Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $66.00-$83.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
