Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Kaayu Technologies in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, service, and repairs on hydrants, fire pumps, and sprinkler systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections including monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual checks.
  • Test Fire Department Connections (FDCs) and perform internal assessments every five years.
  • Produce detailed inspection reports and comprehensive service reports within 24 hours of completion.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team or independently to deliver high-quality results.
  • Be available for on-call services when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry or related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in testing and inspection procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
