We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at Galaxy Fire Protection. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires 30-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to multitask with ease.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry
  • Train staff
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Respond to fire alarms and other calls for assistance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail
