Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Shining Stars Daycare & OSC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our children receive healthy and nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our children, taking into account any food allergies or restrictions.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and train our food service staff in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet our needs.

Quality Control

Ensure that all food served meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Reporting and Record Keeping

Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including inventory levels and quality control measures.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service setting.

Supervision

3-4 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
