About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team at the Canadian Mental Health Association York Region and South Simcoe. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer assessments, including Clinical Intake, Triage Assessment, and CITA, to determine client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Triage clients to appropriate services, ensuring timely and efficient access to mental health support.
  • Provide service navigation and interim support to clients, promoting seamless transitions between services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements
  • Registered Social Worker or Social Service Worker with a related diploma or Bachelor of Social Work.
  • Full Member in good standing of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
  • Three or more years of experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
