Job Title: Special Education Support Professional

At the Autism Support Network, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Support Professional to join our team. As a Special Education Support Professional, you will work closely with students who have autism, providing individualized support to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in developing life skills, including daily living skills and vocational skills
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop individualized education plans
  • Support students in their daily routines, including mealtime, homework, and leisure activities
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and team members to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities an asset

Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a home-based setting, providing one-on-one support to students.

Language: English

Hours: 2-20 hours per week
