Job Summary:

The Service Lot Attendant is a key member of the Brian Jessel BMW team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through professionally cleaned vehicles. As a Vehicle Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing customer vehicles for delivery, ensuring our service lot is organized and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and clean the exterior and interior of customer vehicles in preparation for delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service wash bay.
  • Communicate with service drive-thru staff, service advisors, and valet to update vehicle status and ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and report any vehicle damages before washing to prevent further damage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Valid BC Driver's License, Class 7 or Class 5, and ability to provide driving abstract.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized service lot.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Able to withstand working in a semi-outdoor environment.
  • The ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset.

Compensation and Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour. The work environment is dynamic, with a 40-hour workweek for full-time employment. The hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday and statutory holidays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
