Job Summary:

The Service Lot Attendant is a key member of the Brian Jessel BMW team responsible for ensuring customer vehicles are professionally cleaned and the service lot is well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare customer vehicles for service, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service wash bay, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with service drive-thru staff, service advisors, and valet to update vehicle status and ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify and report any vehicle damages before washing, ensuring accurate documentation and minimizing potential issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the service team.

Requirements:

  • Valid BC Driver's License, Class 7 or Class 5, and ability to provide a driving abstract.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to cooperate with various departments.
  • Detail-oriented and able to withstand working in a semi-outdoor environment.
  • The ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset.

Compensation and Work Environment:

The Service Lot Attendant is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. The work environment is dynamic, with varying hours of operation, including:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Sunday and Statutory Holidays: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
