Job Summary:
The Service Lot Attendant is a key member of the Brian Jessel BMW team responsible for ensuring our customers' last impression of our dealership is delivered with professionally cleaned vehicles. This role involves cleaning customer vehicles and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the service lot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare customer vehicles for delivery, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service lot, including the wash bay and surrounding areas.
- Communicate effectively with service drive-thru staff, service advisors, and valet to update vehicle status and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Identify and report any vehicle damages before washing to prevent further damage.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the service lot.
Requirements:
- Valid BC Driver's License, Class 7 or Class 5, and ability to provide driving abstract.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a semi-outdoor environment and withstand varying weather conditions.
- Manual transmission driving skills are an asset.
Compensation and Work Environment:
The Service Lot Attendant is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday and statutory holidays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The hourly rate is $20.00.
