About the Role: Sun Sushi is looking for an experienced and skilled Sushi Chef to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook a wide variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, maki rolls, and sashimi.
- Staff Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
- Education and Training: A culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and a client-focused approach.
