Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.

  • Help to maintain a safe and secure store environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, working closely with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve business objectives.

  • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring that they are within budget and that any variances are reported to the Store Manager.

  • Perform other duties as required, including opening and closing the store, managing cash handling and banking, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail, or a related field an asset.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service role, with a proven track record of success in a leadership or management position.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
