We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with strong expertise in D&O and Crime insurance to join our team. This is a national role that offers the opportunity to work from any location in Canada.

In this exciting position, you'll be responsible for identifying and elevating coverage issues and emerging trends that impact profitability, as well as providing research, development, and project management support on strategic corporate Specialty Lines projects. You'll also provide technical support and guidance to ensure consistent application of corporate guidelines, quality, and timely service, while effectively controlling insurance risks.

You'll have the opportunity to review, approve, modify, or decline referrals made on accounts beyond the authorities of our underwriting teams, conduct business and underwriting due diligence, including regulatory and compliance research, collaborate with stakeholders on regulatory filings and submissions to Insurance Regulators, participate in regulatory and industry meetings, and contribute to the development of new products and corporate guidelines to effectively control insurance risks and positively impact profitability.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a University degree/College diploma or equivalent education and experience, CIP or FCIP designation, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. You'll also need to have good experience in underwriting various types of D&O and Crime insurance - Public, Private, and Not for Profit entities, as well as strong project management skills, the ability to lead, initiate, monitor, and close projects, make decisions in time-sensitive situations, address complex problems, provide recommended courses of action, and take calculated risks.

The salary range for this position is $120,400.00 - $180,600.00 per year, taking into consideration prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to the role, location, and internal equity.
