Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Teamwork
- Provide guidance and support to junior cooks and kitchen staff
- Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Food Preparation and Presentation
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to meet the standards of our restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Inventory Management and Safety
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Adhere to strict sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date with new recipes, techniques, and menu trends
- Participate in menu planning and development
- 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
- Excellent knife handling skills and knowledge of professional cooking techniques
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing
- Serve Safe certification
