Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at Babcock. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and controlling documents related to our Business Management System (BMS) in SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and control of all documents related to the BMS in SharePoint, including document review, creation, approval, document life cycle, database integrity, and interface with process owners.
  • Support the development and improvement of the Document Management System.
  • Attend Quality Assurance meetings and assist in the capture, creation, and update of meeting minutes and distribution.
  • Support the development of a range of performance measures and metrics, including analyzing KPIs for trends and providing action recommendations.
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings and reminders for Quality Assurance/Documentation related Department activities.
  • Research, synthesize, and draft various documents as required.
  • Monitor Quality Assurance and QA Document Control inboxes.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • You are enrolled in a post-secondary program in Technical Writing or another related field.
  • You have some experience in technical writing and an understanding of documentation control management.
  • You are a self-starter and able to work independently or in a team.
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills and some experience in analysis, organization, and editing of information for online viewing.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with SharePoint environment (preferred development experience), PDF, and OneNote would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of quality management and/or integrated management systems based on International Organization for Standardization (ISO) or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environment practices and regulations would be an asset.
  • Eligible for a Canadian Secret Security Clearance and Controlled Goods.
