Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ULTRAMAR GAS STATION & COFFEE TIME. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our high expectations
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1-6 months of experience in a food service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
