Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ULTRAMAR GAS STATION & COFFEE TIME. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, informing business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights to management.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in food service management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
