About the Role:

The Sales Director, CANDU is a key leadership position responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion for Westinghouse Electric Company LLC's Canadian operations. This role will focus on identifying and capturing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for the CANDU product portfolio.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with CANDU utilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the CANDU market, including customer needs, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Provide sales leadership and guidance to the sales team, including coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports to ensure accurate tracking of sales performance and revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Westinghouse's products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to ensure Westinghouse remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a strong background in the nuclear industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, including revenue growth, team management, and customer relationship development.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, to meet with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
