About the Role

The Sales Director, CANDU is a key leadership position responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion for Westinghouse Electric Company LLC's Canadian operations. This role will focus on identifying and capturing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for the CANDU product portfolio.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with CANDU utilities and other key customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CANDU utility executives, product managers, and other Westinghouse leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the CANDU market, including customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends.
  • Provide sales forecasting and pipeline management to ensure accurate revenue projections and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Westinghouse's products and services, including CANDU reactor technology, fuel manufacturing, and decommissioning and waste management services.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure Westinghouse remains a leader in the CANDU market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a strong background in the nuclear industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with a strong preference for candidates based in Canada.
