Assistant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Jack Astor's Front Street. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service, high-quality food, and a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Manage inventory, labor costs, and cash handling to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of previous restaurant management experience in a comparable environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Smart Serve Certification.
