Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Specialist to join our Winnipeg Maintenance Team at StandardAero Limited. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day break/fix work on machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair work on facility and operations equipment and machines.
  • Dismantle, assemble, install, and commission new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot problems and adjust or repair equipment according to specifications or best maintenance practices.
  • Use machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, plant equipment, and consumables necessary to carry out tasks.
  • Document modification status and configuration of equipment under repair or preventative maintenance.
Requirements
  • Holds or is working towards an industrial mechanic (millwright) certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, complex production equipment, facility systems, hydraulics & pneumatics, and control systems.
  • Ability to dismantle, repair, and assemble machines and equipment.
  • Several years of job-related training/experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics, drawings, installation/operation manuals, and support information.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and software utilized for maintenance activities.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average workday. The required shift is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of changes due to business demands. You must also be available to work 'on-call' for facilities and equipment maintenance issues as per schedule.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
