About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Customer Practice Manager to lead our Public Sector business in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic relationships with customers and partners, and delivering innovative solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and revenue in the Public Sector market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality solutions and services to customers, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for AWS to innovate and differentiate itself in the market.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading consulting verticals for Canada Federal Government.
  • 5+ years of consulting practice leadership experience as manager with P&L responsibility.
  • Experience selling and delivering technology consulting services.
  • Experience with providing strategic, consultative services in a sales or advisory services environment.
  • Knowledge of the industry, understanding of consulting contract vehicles and related RFx activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting firm helping transform the IT organization of multinational enterprises.
  • Experience with Canadian Public Sector procurement and delivery of Advisory services.
  • High-level of skill communicating and collaborating effectively across internal and external organizations, including sales, solution architects and customers.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup (or startup-like) environment and experience.
  • Proven experience migrating production enterprise applications to Public and Private Cloud.
  • Experience with ITSM processes and ITIL, along with integration experience of Cloud solutions and services with enterprise IT Service Management systems and processes.
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
