Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Mills Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical/Surgical Unit and assist with assessment, direct patient care as assigned, and perform clerical duties related to the work of the Unit.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical/Surgical Unit
Assist with assessment, direct patient care as assigned, and perform clerical duties related to the work of the Unit
Work under the direction of a registered nurse in charge

Requirements

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
Current certification
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to operate related equipment
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Ability to deal effectively with others
Ability to organize work
