Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive team dynamic
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and customers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • 32-35 hours per week
  • English language required
