About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at PCL Construction. As a key member of our operations group, you will play a critical role in supporting our district champions and chair meetings, organizing user group events, and providing project support and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and manage environments for P6 scheduling software, including end user support, testing, and documentation.
  • Support PCL software applications for the Planning, Scheduling, and Lean processes, including document organization and training.
  • Test and evaluate new software solutions, including developing adoption plans and training.
  • Support district champions and chair meetings.
  • Organize Planning, Scheduling, and Lean user group events.
  • Assist with department coordination and documentation.
  • Travel to operational districts as required to provide project support and training.
Requirements
  • Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with a close-knit group of construction services subject matter experts.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software solutions.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building material, and required standards applicable by discipline.
  • Experience in construction scheduling is an asset.
  • Experience with P6 or P6 EPPM is an asset.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with operational districts and applicable champions.
  • Travel expectations: up to 20% throughout North America
