About the Role

PCL Construction is seeking a skilled Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our Integrated Construction Services (ICS) team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations groups and contributing to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and support for P6 scheduling software, including end-user support, testing, and documentation.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of PCL software applications for planning, scheduling, and lean processes.
  • Test and evaluate new software solutions, developing adoption plans and training programs.
  • Collaborate with district champions and chair meetings to drive planning and scheduling initiatives.
  • Organize user group events and provide support for department coordination and documentation.
  • Travel to operational districts to provide project support and training, as required.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of construction experience in an operational role, preferably with experience in construction scheduling.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a close-knit team.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software solutions and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques.
  • Experience with P6 or P6 EPPM is an asset.
