Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients in our Primary Care Home.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide competent, safe, and ethical care for patients in settings such as physician practices, homes, facilities, and communities
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to achieve effective outcomes related to patient participation in valued activities
- Facilitate individuals, families, and support networks to achieve and maintain optimal health and engagement in everyday occupations
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong assessment and treatment skills
