Bakery Machinery Specialist

CEDAR BAKERY AND FOODS CANADA INC is seeking a skilled Bakery Machinery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and maintain mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Supervise other workers and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
- Estimate costs and materials for maintenance and repair projects
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and commission systems
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
