Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cage Supervisor to oversee daily cage and main bank operations at Pickering Casino Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing people and interacting with guests while delivering exceptional guest service.

Under the direction of the Cage and Coin Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. As a role model, you will demonstrate integrity, respect, and accountability, assisting with the hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of your staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily cage and main bank operations, ensuring seamless execution and efficient workflow.
  • Assist with hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, vendors, and regulators, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as business administration or a related field.
  • One or more years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, managerial skills, and familiarity with computer software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
