Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Store Supervisor to join our team at North Star Subs Inc. As a Food Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise as needed.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all products are stocked and available for sale.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Food Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
