Food Store Manager

North Star Subs Inc is seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and that merchandise is properly stored and displayed.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their experience.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to improve store performance.
- Store Operations: Establish work schedules, authorize returns, and order merchandise as needed to maintain efficient store operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
