Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Manos Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food preparation, and staff supervision.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food prepared in the kitchen meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Monitor and address any food safety or quality control issues promptly.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Work with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen operations, including sales, inventory, and labor data.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures
