At Yamco Wireless Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our sales team.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and overseeing the entire sales process.

About the Role
  • We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
  • The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • They will work 40 hours per week and have a permanent contract.

The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters. They must be able to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
  • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Authorize payments by cheque
  • Order merchandise
  • Authorize return of merchandise
  • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
