Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary regional rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing client-centered, goal-oriented rehabilitation services to children and/or adult populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs for clients with various needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and strategies.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop individualized plans.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM).
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email/outlook.
  • Effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) is essential for target and designated bilingual positions.
