Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team at N. S. Nijjar Professional Corporation. As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, processing files, and ordering supplies.
  • Clinical Support: Assist optometrists with patient exams, administer tests, and maintain equipment.
  • Patient Education: Develop and distribute educational materials to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring we have what we need to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
