Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team at N. S. Nijjar Professional Corporation. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our optometrists and assist with patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer visual tests and record results using specialized equipment
  • Assist optometrists with patient assessments and develop patient information materials
  • Operate ophthalmic testing instruments and maintain equipment
  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing and ordering supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work in a team environment
