Job Title: 2nd Cook

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Cook to join our team at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. As a 2nd Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Food Handler Certification (Basics.fst, Toronto Public Health, or equivalent)
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Knife-handling skills an asset
  • Knowledge and skill level to work in a variety of kitchen locations
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a team-focused environment
