About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawn Care Supervisor to join our team at PB10 Construction & Landscaping. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our lawn care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and supervise a team of lawn care staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
    • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the team and the company.
  • Lawn Care Operations
    • Plan and direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns to ensure high-quality results.
    • Organize and coordinate the maintenance of grounds, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Project Management
    • Estimate labor and materials required for projects and develop budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Plan and direct grounds maintenance projects, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including hours worked and materials used.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on project progress and team performance.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Develop and implement mentorship programs to support the integration of newcomers and refugees into the team.
  • Support for Youths
    • Design and deliver mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth employees.
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Develop and implement cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous employees.
  • Support for Visible Minorities
    • Develop and implement mentorship programs to support the integration of visible minorities into the team.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in lawn care or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 32 to 40 hours per week.
