About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawn Care Supervisor to join our team at PB10 Construction & Landscaping. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our lawn care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and supervise a team of lawn care staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Planting and Maintenance: Plan and direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and estimate labor and materials required for each project, ensuring that all resources are allocated effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including logs and reports.
  • Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Mentorship and Training: Offer mentorship programs to newcomers and refugees, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Youth Support: Develop and implement mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, promoting their growth and development.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness programs to all employees, ensuring that our workplace is inclusive and welcoming to all.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
