About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working with young children and a strong background in early childhood education. Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist in carrying out programs that support the overall well-being of children.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Encourage creativity through various art forms and activities.
  • Engage children in interactive play and learning experiences.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
  • Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents or supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A College/CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with young children.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
