About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with NSWOC certification to work as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team. As a NSWOC nurse, you will provide wound and ostomy consultation services to patients in our clinic and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' wounds and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on wound management and self-care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in wound care and ostomy management

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN diploma and current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
  • Graduation from Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) or equivalent
  • Several years of experience managing wounds and ostomies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR certification and current immunization record
