Inventory Control Liaison

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Liaison to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.
Job Summary:This casual position is responsible for maintaining departmental inventory of supplies, completing designated purchase requisitions, and performing various support services.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain supplies/inventory on designated unit
- Place specific purchase requisitions with HSSBC
- Maintain departmental perpetual inventory records
- Prepare patients for examination by performing duties such as transporting assigned patients to and from the department using mechanical aids
- Investigate matters such as incorrect invoices, outstanding or backordered items, and damaged/recalled goods
- Prepare and type various reports such as allocation of supplies, stock status reports, and backorder reports
- Perform clerical functions such as answering telephone, stamping charts, and greeting and directing patients and other visitors to the department
- Clean and prepare procedure rooms and other related unit areas
- Deliver/pick up items such as equipment, supplies, specimens, and blood to and from various areas of the hospital
- A current 5 Minute Typing Test 35 wpm or greater completed within past 48 months from a recognized institution
- Your Resume indicating two year's recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Your High School Diploma
- A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work
