About the RoleThe Resort Assistant Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Reception department. This high-profile role requires a highly trained and motivated team leader who can provide a seamless registration and cashiering service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of reception staff to ensure excellent guest service and a smooth check-in process
- Control room rate availability on full-house nights to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Protect guaranteed reservations and ensure accurate communication between managers on duty
- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve high standards of performance
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual with a minimum of five years' experience in hotel Rooms Division, including at least three years in an Assistant Department Head position. You will have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving ability, and be proficient in Hotel property management systems, particularly Opera and Micros Fidelio. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
